Here are the best ways to keep your car shinning new even when it becomes old:
Wash Car Once A Week
To have an everlasting shine in your car, it is very important to have a car wash once every week. While driving dirt and dust gets deposit on the car paint which if not removed n time may cause rusting. Use a soft cleaner to wash the car and dry it with a soft terry cloth. Don’t ever wash the car under the sun as this may cause drying of water droplets and leave water stains on the paint.
To wash the car, first hose off all the dirt and mud from the car. Then, mix the cleaner with adequate amount of water and wash your car using a sponge in a circular motion. Once you are done with the washing, take a soft terry cloth to dry the car.
Wax Your Car with Perfection
After washing and completely drying the car, apply car wax. If you apply wax before the car is completely dried, then you may not get the desired shine.
Let your car be under shade while waxing. Apply wax using a sponge in a circular motion. When applying, make sure that you shake off the excess wax on the sponge or the cloth, whatever you are using to apply wax. Once you are done with it, clean the extra wax on the car using a soft terry cloth.
After waxing, make sure that you wash the cloth with a liquid softener so that you don’t cause damage to the car paint if you use the same cloth the next time.
Apply Tyre Spray to Car Tyres
Shining tyres improves the overall look of the car. So, it is important to take good care of the car tyres.
Wash your car tyres once every week as this part of the car always stay in contact with the road, thereby having maximum deposits of dust, dirt, and mud. Wipe off the dirt using a cloth of a dryer. Wash the tyres properly with soap and water. Once you are done with it, polish the car tyres using tyre polish. These days you get high gloss tyre spray in most of the car accessories shop.
Clean the Car Interiors
Cleaning the interior is equally important when it comes to maintaining the shine of your car. To clean the car interiors, first remove all the trash, paper, and extra materials from the car. Then, remove the car mats and vacuum them. Also vacuum the car seats, car door upholstery, and carpets. You can even use a leather conditioner to give a fresh and shining look the leather car seats. Using a brush or a spray, clean the car electronics, dashboard, and other delicate interiors of the car. To clean the car windows, you can use a glass cleaner. Once you are done with the complete cleaning, place back the mats and carpets.

A cover is great if available. Use polish not wax. I have been using NuFinish car polish for over 20 years on all of my cars and it has served me quite well. It says on the bottle that it's the once a year car polish, and although it is good, I get better results with 2 coats twice a year.
